There are several ways for individuals, churches, groups, and other organizations to get involved with PWM to improve the lives of orphans and widows in Honduras and throughout the world. Below are a few of the possibilities:
| Mission Teams | Short term mission teams come to La Providencia throughout the year. Find out how you can join one or lead a team of your own! Find out more. |

| Providence in a Box | This is a great opportunity to help without ever leaving the country. Work with your church or organization to gather donated items to be packed in boxes that will be sent to help those in need. Find out more. |
| Child Sponsorships | Groups of six individuals or families can sponsor a Providence Child (i.e., an orphan or at-risk community child) for $35/month per sponsor. And for an additional $5/month, each sponsor can provide medical care to another orphan in the state of Comayagua. Find out more. |
| Prayer | We cannot serve effectively without the Lord’s presence and help. Please remember to pray for the children and widows we serve along with the board and staff. |
| Research | Assist with researching other orphanages, orphan care, and widow care around the world — for more information about research partnerships, contact Phil Darke at pdarke@providenceworldministries.org. |
| Church/ Organization Dovetail Partnerships | Several churches and organizations from around the country have helped PWM already. Find out more. |
| Internships | For individuals over the age of 17, three-month, one-year, eighteen-month, and two-year internships are available who are interested in volunteer service with PWM for an extended period of time. For more information, email Israel Holliday. |
| Financial Gifts |
There are numerous avenues through which individuals, churches, and organizations can participate financially in the ministries of Providence World Ministries with tax-deductible donations. Our desire is to enable donors to participate in ways that are aligned with their callings, passions, and resources. For more information on the different ways to give financially to PWM, click here. PWM General Fund – Provides for the immediate funding needs of the ministries of PWM, including Local Orphan and Widow Care, Adoption Advocacy, and Child Advocacy. The Levite Project – Donations to The Levite Project cover administrative and program costs, such as research and development to improve orphan and widow care world-wide, missionary “seed” money, staff in Honduras, and overhead costs. Construction of La Providencia Communities – Provides for construction of the homes, hospitals, schools and support structures that comprise our orphan and widow communities. Please note:
PWM strives to keep administrative expenses to a minimum. To achieve that goal, all of PWM’s full-time, missionary employees (including the President, International Director, and Director of Research & Development) raise their financial support through a completely independent, third-party organization.
