What is a Providence Partner?
Providence Partners walk alongside PWM and each other through a monthly investment of at least $10 to PWM’s work. For less than 40 cents a day, you can be a part of developing orphans, widows, and at-risk children into Gospel-driven societal leaders by providing them with loving families and top-notch education, medical care, and nutrition.
Where does the money go?
As a Providence Partner, you choose to invest your monthly gift in one of three areas:
1. PWM General Fund/Urgent Needs
PWM will use these funds to invest in the area of PWM with the greatest need at the time of the gift.
2. Providence Children and local community
PWM will use these funds to support unsponsored Providence Children and ensure consistent funding for all of La Providencia’s programs, including Academia La Providencia, the John Eaves Medical Center, the Centro Onyx, and several community development projects.
3. Construction, infrastructure, and business development
PWM will invest these funds into current and future construction, maintenance, infrastructure needs, and development of businesses (e.g., farm, Tilapia lake) at La Providencia.
The Multiplication Effect of Providence Partnerships
When investments from multiple Providence Partners are bound together, amazing things begin to happen. Here are only a few examples of how your $10 a month can go a very long way.
a) 2 ½ Providence Partners enable PWM to feed a Providence Child in La Providencia’s feeding program (kids up to the age of 4).
b) 3 ½ Providence Partners will ensure that a Providence Child gets an education at Academia La Providencia.
c) 30 Providence Partners fund a teacher’s salary at Academia La Providencia.
d) 5 Providence Partners enable PWM to perform 12 life-changing eye or orthopedic surgeries a year at La Providencia’s John Eaves Medical Center.
What will Providence Partners receive?
As a Providence Partner, you will receive:
- E-mail updates, praises, and prayer requests from your area of investment
- Access to videos and photos from your area of investment on a secure website available only to Providence Partners (need to provide PWM with a valid e-mail address to obtain password)
We hope that entire families can experience the joys of giving and serving “the least of these” together as Providence Partners. Several children have already invested in PWM’s work by giving money from their jobs, lemonade stands, and other “fundraisers.”
